It was a pleasant morning. Vidya felt the warmth of the morning sun as she walked towards her office. The cult ARR classic “Kadhal Sadugudu” played in her headphones. As she was rejoicing every beat of the song, she saw an old man carrying bouquets of roses in his bicycle. Fate decided to tarnish this beautiful, the old man suddenly slipped from his cycle and fell down with all the bouquets lying on the road. She rushed towards him to help him pick up all those flowers on the ground and placed them back. After the old man left, she continued her walk. She felt someone following her. Her instinct was not wrong. Turning back she saw him with a single red rose from one of those bouquets and a wide smile on his face. Vidya was shocked at first. Yet she got the rose from him with a cute blush. The whole day his face and that smile kept on disturbing her..
The next evening, she was standing at her veranda and enjoying the sunset with a bar of chocolate in her hand. Some FM station was playing the song “Mental manadhil" from the movie Ok Kanmani in the next room. Humming along few lines from the song, she turned to the other side of the window. To her shock, she saw him with the same wide smile on his face, standing opposite to her house. Her joy knew no bounds. She rushed to the street to meet him. As he extended his hands towards her, she gave a gentle shake, blushing gently.
The next day, Vidya named him “Teddy". She hadn’t bothered to ask him. She loved Teddy bears. They didn’t hurt you, but rather they were pillow to all her tears and smile. As expected, he was waiting for her yet again. On the way back to home she gifted him a nice chain with a teddy pendant for him.
The distance between them vanished as days passed by. His shoulder was her favorite place and her lap was his heaven. They started spending their time together round the clock. He knew all her problems and her dreams. They both had a strong feeling that they have found their right partner. He promised her unconditional love and she promised him that she can stand against the world with him but can never stand a word against him. This promise was never meant to be broken and would stay forever with him.
The day finally arrived when Vidya thought that she should introduce him to her family. "I need to tell my parents about you. I want to live light years with you. I want to travel miles by just holding your hands. I want to enjoy 1000 full moon light with you. You're my everything. So I'll say that I have found my best half to spend the rest of my life" Having said this she gently kissed his forehead and left to her home that night.
Will he be accepted in Vidya's house? Will they live happily ever after? Stay tuned for the next episode!!!
